On November 16, 2022, Health Canada updated List D: List of Certain Non-prescription Drugs for Distribution as Samples. This list outlines which low-risk non-prescription drugs and natural health products can be distributed as samples in Canada. Conditions apply.

  • The following is a list of product classes that were added to List D;

    • sunscreens

    • toothpastes

    • mouthwashes

    • antiperspirants

    • throat lozenges

    • diaper-rash products

    • anti-dandruff products

    • acne therapy products

    • athlete's foot products

    • anti-septic skin cleansers

    • medicated skin care products
